Beautiful blue eyes... Need I say more?

The Grand Piano
09.20.04 (5:45 pm)   [edit]
This was a presente to my friend Kelly, to whom this little piece is dedicated.

 The Grand Piano

Professor Flitwick was frantically waving what looked like a magic wand in his right hand, in front of a group of worried students. The wand in fact, turned out to be a conductor’s baton, and the worried kids were the components of Hogwarts Choir, of which Flitwick was the director, and conductor. After the successful presentation in the Welcome Feast, at the beginning of the school year with the Double Trouble song, Professor Dumbledore had asked them to give a small presentation at the Yule Ball, in the end of the winter term. They were all worried for the little time they had to rehearse, due to all sorts of homework, exams, and marking (that for Flitwick) that needed to be finished.

*********************

Professor Snape was walking down the corridor in his usual stride - which made his long black robes billow and wave behind him, leaving all female portraits of Hogwarts’ walls sigh in his wake – as he passed the door to the Charms classroom. From within, came the voices of several kids singing and the sound of several instruments – fiddles, cellos, a clavier... some brass as well…

“Let’s have a look at what old Flitwick is hiding up his sleeve for the Yule Ball…” thought Snape.

He quietly entered the classroom – quietly as only Snape could. Mind you, his students never managed to work out just how he could move like that, and turn up right behind them during Potions, exactly when they were saying thinks like how mean he was.

Standing near the door, he observed. Snape was a music-loving man… He held dear both wizard and muggle music… Although in Snape’s opinion - and he didn’t know that many muggles shared that opinion with him – muggle music had just lost its main appeal somewhere in the beginning of the 19th century, and what he really appreciated were the creations of the greatest muggle genius of all time, WA Mozart. Observing the kids rehearse under the skilled supervision of Flitwick was rather nice… until he turned his attention to the instruments. Oh, he hated self-playing instruments… fiddles and pianos bewitched to perform music by themselves… that was just like playing some vinyl disk in that muggle contraption that Lupin insisted in bringing into the castle. No, that wouldn’t do. Snape liked playing his own music, and resented not having enough time – or room in his dungeons – to play his grand piano, which lay untouched at the moment at his mother’s house, back in Devon… oh, how he missed those days when he could spend hours and hours playing his piano…

In an impulse, he walked to the middle of the room, startling the already nervous students, and making Flitwick jump.

“Severus, where on Earth did you come from?”

“Sorry Flitwick… but, do you really HAVE to use those silly instruments to play with these children? Honestly, don’t they look rather pathetic? Look at the state of that clavier!”

He pointed to a sorry looking, light brown and rather small wooden clavier, which suddenly stopped playing its merry melody, and cowered in a corner, just like some very scared puppy.

“Severus, you’ve hurt its feelings!”

“Oh, it will feel a lot better when I’m through with it…”

Moving towards the sorry instrument hiding in the corner, Snape pointed his wand towards it and muttered under his breath: “Accrescere cantus!”

In a flash of white light, the sorry looking thing turned over in itself and was transfigured into an enormous, shining, magnificent, black, grand piano that seemed to smile with all its black and white shining keys.

Everyone in the room gaped in awe, and every single one also wondered who was going to play it… no, it couldn’t be… now, that would be a sight!

Snape looked back at Flitwick as if asking for permission to have a go… Flitwick waved his hand at him, completely shocked, and not knowing what to expect from that. It was a real first! Professor Severus Snape, playing the piano! Who would imagine! No, really, that he never expected!

Snape turned on his heels and walked down to the piano… leaning over it, he examined keys and strings, caressing it and smelling its sweet perfume, which spoke of music…

Adjusting his robes, he elegantly sat down in front of the grand piano, and concentrated. Now, he was entering a world all his own, and everything else faded. Only the piano and his hands existed. And he began…..

He played the same melody Flitwick was previously rehearsing and, taking the hint, Flitwick gestured to his kids, who picked up the song from a point and sang along with Snape’s piano… The fiddles decided they couldn’t be left out, and joined in too. Snape, despite his dislike of the “oh-we-are-so-clever-we -can-play-on-our-own” instruments, let the proud fiddles continue. The combination sounded amazing... The portraits were mesmerized, and carried the word around the castle. Pictures from all other rooms were arriving, to listen to the emotional and passionate performance of Professor Severus Snape. Even Peeves was quietly afloat in a corner of the ceiling, along with Nearly-Headless Nick and the Bloody Baron. On they played for hours, neither teachers nor kids getting tired or bored… A little first-year Slytherin, the smallest of the kids, standing at the end of the line nearest to Snape could swear, for all she held dear, that tears were rolling down his cheeks…

*************************

End of winter term, all prepared to go home, and the great hall was beautifully decorated for the Yule ball. As the evening approached, excitement grew in the castle, among the students who had very few opportunities for a dance, or even to dress up. As the hall was getting crowded and the staff were taking their chairs around the great table, the choir was taking position, and musicals instruments – shrank to a few centimetres for transport – were being brought in and arranged on top of the steps which lead to the great table. As everyone was settled and ready for the beginning of the feast, the choir started quietly, a very low melody… as they sang, surprise took hold of all pairs of eyes which stared in the same direction: Professor Severus Snape, in his dress robes, and his hair tied back with a black velvet ribbon (which made a few seventh-year girls nearly faint not only of surprise) sat by the grand piano and started to play… Awe and fascination swept the great hall, as he brilliantly made the choir nearly redundant, and his notes took over the performance…

Meanwhile, Dumbledore, incredibly pleased for this sudden disclosure of his trusted friend’s musical talents, thought to himself: “Severus’ engagement to the gorgeous long-haired, green-eyed, young witch, Kelly of St. Paul’s, really did him good…”

Vienna, a starry summer night…
09.20.04 (5:39 pm)   [edit]

This one isn't even finished, and it is part of Alexia's memories of her affair with Lucius Malfoy... I might actually write more about them... as Lucius is a VERY INTERESTING character... ;)

*********************

Alexia Morgan attended the yearly Wizarding Ball in Vienna along with the Baron of Salzburg, his wife and some other friends. The hall was beautifully decorated and everyone looked their best… If any muggle could see it, they would think they had been transported 300 years to the past… 18th century clothing was quite trendy here on these days…

They were given one of the best tables, on the raised section, overlooking the main hall where music and dance took place. Alexia was attentively watching the musicians and did not notice when the man arrived...

She turned swiftly when the voice of Herr Meinhard, Baron of Salzburg, called with the strongest German accent:

“Alexia, my dear, I vant you to meet a good friend of ours. He is actually from England, like yourself…”

She turned towards the stranger and her blood seemed to freeze within her veins… She was yet to see such a striking figure...

He had the coldest blue eyes one could imagine, a pale, beautiful face, and long, silver-blond hair… the stranger was strikingly handsome… nearly too much so… His hair streamed down his shoulders, with a feeling of softness… the eyes seemed to look straight into her soul… He was very tall and had a majestic posture, wearing a black velvet frock coat and a dark green cloak. She could breathe in his perfume from where she stood… a mixture of wooden scents… incredibly sensual…

Alex was so hypnotized with the appearance of the stranger that she missed when the Baron said his name… She could only notice that the man was offering her a little purple flower…

As she took the flower, he caught her hand in his and slowly kissed it, whispering in a soft, low voice: “Delighted to meet you, Miss Morgan.”

Alexia shivered, blushing and feeling the hairs of her neck stand on end: “Erm… it’s nice to meet you too, Mr… oh, so sorry, I didn’t quite catch your name…”

The stranger looked back at the Baron, who laughed out loud. “Oh dear! Alex, you ought to be more attentive…”

Alex looked back into the blue eyes: “So sorry…”

“Never worry about that” replied the blond man.

Bowing in front of her, he introduced himself: “Lucius Malfoy, my lady. Here at the service of the British Ministry of Magic.”

*****************

Alex was so attracted to the blond man that she could hardly eat any of the wonderful food provided by the Austrian Minister of Magic. The Baron invited Mr. Malfoy to join them during dinner, and he sat right beside Alexia. She was only too aware of his perfume and of his magnificent presence by her side all through the meal. And he seemed to be quite interested too… for she caught him looking at her several times…

The Baron spent the meal explaining how good the Austrian plan for “Cooperation with Muggles” was. Mr. Malfoy, buy the way, did not seem to agree with it at all… After dinner, the Austrian Minister of Magic, who was hosting the ball, called the musicians back, and declared that the dance should start. As Alex secretly wished to be asked to dance by the blond man, the referred person stood up and extended his hand to her… and together they walked to the main hall.

The sensation of having his strong hand holding her waist was extremely sensual. And, wow, was he tall! She could barely look over his shoulder, and her nose was buried in his soft blond hair. His perfume was better than anything…

As they danced, she noticed how he was pulling her closer and closer, until their bodies were touching completely. His voice was warm and sexy and he whispered comments about the music into her ears.

When the first song finished, Alexia expected Mr. Malfoy to thank her, and leave to chat up some other woman. Instead, he only fastened his grip of her waist and continued waltzing along. He seemed to know everyone in the ball, as he was able to make comments – mainly sarcastic - about most couples dancing near them. By the end of the second song, again he pulled her even closer and continued dancing. She was entranced by his voice, constantly whispering in her ear. She hadn’t been so attracted to a man in a long time… and she was already wondering what to do to try and keep this one to herself. She didn’t know anything about him… and who cares?!… but she knew enough to be sure that she wanted him… Oh, dear Merlin, he had now both his hands around her waist… They continued dancing, but not quite as enthusiastically as before… Alex barely paid any attention to the music… she let him lead her as he wished…Eventually, Lucius stopped dancing and pulled her to the side of the dance floor.

Padfoot’s Day

Another random piece...

Alexia was off to pick gooseberries and bake a pie for Severus. She took with her a bag and some bread to feed the ravens, her favourite birds, which were nesting at this time of the year. The best gooseberries grew just off the road leading out of the village. Wearing her usual all-black attire, she walked down the road towards the outskirts of the village.

At the base of the hills surrounding the wizarding settlement, just off the road, she found the berries and stopped to pick them. Hearing something moving behind her, she turned, to find a lovely stray dog, huge and black, frantically wagging his tale and looking at her as if he were smiling. He sniffed at her bag, and she thought that he must be hungry.

“Come here, there’s some bread for you. That’s if you don’t mind eating what was supposed to be food for the ravens. No, I don’t think you mind... Here, have this...”, she said, throwing some bread on the floor in front of the dog.

He ate it quickly as she bent down at his side, observing his black matted fur and thinking that he could do with a bath. He finished eating and jumped on Alexia giving a long lick on her cheek and trying to lick her lips. She twisted her face in disgust, but the dog didn’t give over and stuck his nose into her blouse, which had a deep neckline, revealing voluptuous breasts. He kept his face there, between her boobs, sniffing. She laughed out loud and pushed the animal away.

She continued with her search for gooseberries, and the black dog followed her around, always trying to get under her long skirts, nibbling at her ankles. She tripped over him several times, nearly falling over. Although quite annoyed, she did not chase him away. She was a dog-loving person (although she much preferred cats) and could not think of hurting an animal’s feeling. Mind you, had he been a man she would not have had any scruples in tossing a handful of gooseberries at his face…

Eventually, she had enough berries and left, this time just apparating back to the pub, instead of walking, and leaving the black stray staring into empty space.

************************* ********

Severus Snape paced nervously around an empty classroom at Hogwarts as his partner, Alexia Morgan, sat there watching him.

“Calm down, my love… they’ll be here in no time”.

“Darling, you don’t know them… those two would do anything to annoy me… and believe me when I say ANYTHING…”

Alex came to Hogwarts today because there was someone “she should meet and get used to the idea of his innocence” according to Dumbledore’s own words. He had told her that the man in question – Sirius Black - had spent 12 years in Azkaban for crimes he did not commit. He was now hiding and could not be seen walking around.

A few more silent minutes passed… then, Remus Lupin, ex-Defence against the Dark Arts teacher, now unemployed, pushed the door open and walked into the classroom. He was followed by a large black mongrel, who frantically wagged his tail.

Severus, who did not look happy at all, introduced Alexia and Lupin to each other, forgetting that they already knew each other. She then walked to the black dog bending down in front of him, stroking his head.

“Oh, what are you doing here, you poor thing? Did you find anything else to eat?”

Not being able to conceal a smirk, Lupin turned to Alex saying: “Oh, I see you’ve already met Sirius, then.”

“Sirius?” asked her, confused. She knew she was supposed to meet Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, but she also knew they were both supposed to be people.

Suddenly, the dog took a few steps back and, before her very eyes, turned into a fully grown man, with long dark hair and an unkept beard.

Alexia’s eyes widened in anger. She felt really hot and her face turned scarlet. Without thinking any further, she raised her right arm and with all her might, slapped Sirius right across the face. The man had to take a step back in order not to fall over. Alexia was fuming! Sirius, rubbing his sore cheek, put on his most ironic face and, with his darkened smile, stared into her eyes replying:

“Nice to meet you too, my lady”.

“Alex, for Merlin’s sake, you know he is innocent!” shouted Remus.

“Innocent my arse!” – she was still angry…

“What do you mean?” asked Severus. “Mind you, I’m not saying I didn’t enjoy watching it…”

“Oh, I know he didn’t murder anyone alright… but Mr. Black-Dog here took a good sniff of my boobs when I was feeding bread to an innocent-looking stray…”

“You bastard!” Severus was outraged and tried to run towards Sirius, being held back only by Lupin’s hand on his shoulder. “Severus, calm down!” But Severus continued muttering insults: “You sack of fleas! Useless, arrogant git!” etc…

Sirius, still rubbing his cheek cut through Severus’ words:

“I beg your forgiveness, Alexia. I cannot completely control Padfoot’s actions all the time”. Alex very much doubted that… “Moreover, he continued, you may rest assured that I wouldn’t, ever, try and lay a finger on someone else’s woman…”

Lupin still had to hold Severus back to avoid corporal confront… the Potions Master didn’t even get his wand, he was so angry he wanted to break Sirius’ bones with his bare hands. He shouted at Sirius:

“You bastard, did you know she was my partner? Who told you? Will I ever be rid of your pestilent presence?!”

“Well, Severus, no one had to tell me… remember, a dog’s nose is 100 times more sensitive than a human’s… I could smell your… presence… in her…”

That only made Severus angrier, but Alex turned to him: “It’s okay Sevvie, I already got my revenge…”

Severus gave over and started to calm down… but still threatened Black: “You’ll pay for that! I’ll make sure you do” and walked quickly out of the room.

Lupin excused himself asking if Sirius was coming with him, but Alex asked:

 “Mr. Black… Sirius… may I have a quick word?”

Lupin left at that, leaving them alone.

“Sure… what bothers you my lady?”

“Well, don’t worry, I’m not mad at Padfoot anymore… I just wanted to say that now you look much more like what I was expecting. Those posters the Ministry of Magic published didn’t look like you very much.”

 “Was that a compliment?”

“Yeah, definitely. I also need to ask you something… I’ll understand if you chose not to answer…”

“Go on…”

She continued, but looked and sounded quite embarrassed…

“Well, I’ve just been thinking… if you, even as a dog, felt like sniffing into a woman’s blouse… well, does it, by any chance, mean that Remus and you are, well, not, erm, together anymore?”

“How on Earth do you know about this?” asked Sirius, sounding quite alarmed.

“Oh, don’t worry… Remus hasn’t told you? We’ve known each other for ages. Remember when he went down to Cornwall, searching for a cure for his condition? He stayed with my fiancée at the time, Dominic Teske…”

“Oh! I’m so sorry… I didn’t know you were his partner! Dear Merlin! I surely remember when he died… Remus told me how awful it was…”

“Well, anyway… on those days, Remus used to talk a lot about Sirius Black… his beauty, his talent and his intelligence… and how much he loved you…”

“Did he really? Did he talk about me with such… fondness?”

“Yes, Sirius, he did… this is why I am asking about your situation…”

“Thanks Alex… don’t worry, we are indeed, trying to make out for all 12 years I had to be away… Did you tell Snape?”

“I’m glad to hear that, Mr Black… No, Severus doesn’t know… not from my lips anyway… And can I ask you something else? Did you really know about Severus and I just by smelling  me?”

“Yes… I did… Although I also heard the news from other sources…”

“And who was that?”

“Two students who came to see me from time to time… you surely know them, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley…”

“Oh, yeah I know them… Did they say how greasy Severus is and were they wondering how I can be with him?”

“That, Ms. Morgan, were more or less Mr. Weasley’s words… However, Miss Granger doesn’t seem to share that point of view…”

“What? How come?”

“Well, Miss Granger seems to think that Professor Snape is a highly intelligent and talented man… and also quite attractive”. Sirius twisted his face as he said it. “You should have seen how embarrassed she was when Harry and I managed to get that confession out of her! She also thinks that Snape, in her words, deserves a woman with vast academic knowledge”!

Alex started to laugh out loud… She could not be angry at Hermione, who obviously though of herself as the kind of woman Severus deserved…

“That is unbelievable! Hermione fancies Severus… wait until I tell him… having said that, I’d rather not let him know…”

“Anyway, my lady… now that we are on the subject… can I ask you how on Earth you ended up with the greasy old bat? How could you? How can you???”

“Mr. Black… if only you knew……… but that, I can’t tell you!”

Laughing out loud, they left the room walking side by side, to find a very grumpy looking Severus waiting in the corridor.

12 Grimauld Place
09.20.04 (5:08 pm)   [edit]

This was supposed to happen after Severus discovered he could indeed trust Alexia, and she joined the Order of the Phoenix. Well, not with a big role, but at least she believed she could help the Order by overhearing conversations in the pub... This little piece was insipired by the many Snape/HG stories I have read...

Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and Harry Potter were alone in the house with Sirius Black, when he chased them from the kitchen, with the excuse that an important meeting was about to take place. They ran to the boys’ room on the first floor, but in no time were back out, hiding at the top of the stairs and using three extendable ears they managed to get from Fred and George.

Seconds later, a light tap on the door brought Sirius to the entrance hall. He opened the door and let in Remus Lupin, Severus Snape and Alexia Morgan. Black embraced Lupin tightly and ignored the other two. Arm in arm the two men walked into the house and made for the stairs. Harry, Ron and Hermione quickly hid inside the room again, and waited until Sirius and Lupin climbed the stairs past them and into Sirius’ room.

Harry could not be bothered to go out again to spy on Snape and Alex, but both Hermione and Ron had a different feeling. They went back out and were greeted by an unusual sight. Severus and Alex were still standing in the entrance hall, which was plainly visible from the top of the stairs. Both were removing their heavy black overcoats, letting them fall to the floor.

Hermione could not believe her eyes… Professor Snape was wearing muggle clothes! Tight blue jeans and a white linen shirt… He had his back to her, and she noticed all too well how the trousers hugged his well shaped and muscular buttocks… his thighs were also massive… Oh Merlin!  …his shoulders were so wide! Her thoughts were now around the lines of “please, turn around, let me see your chest, I beg you”…

Meanwhile, Ron marvelled at the sight of Alexia in tight black jeans and a green zipped-up top, which revealed the shape or her waist and breasts.

The coats landed on the floor; Severus took Alex around the waist and pushed her hard against the wall, embracing her. Ron at first though he was going to hurt her and thought of running down the stairs to rescue her from his evil hands. But in a second he realised that it was not the case…

Severus said in Alexia’s ear (and their spectators could hear it clearly…): “Oh, spending all day next to you, breathing in your scent and not being able to touch you… has driven me insane…”

He then kissed her mouth passionately, running his hands all over her body. His tongue entered her mouth between her parted lips, exploring and caressing feverishly… She responded the kiss with the same passion and soon began to unbutton his shirt. She pushed it back over his shoulder, exposing them and his wide muscular back to Hermione, who gaped. Alexia kissed and bit his neck fiercely, making him moan in pain and pleasure…

Severus then proceeded to unzip her top, revealing her lacy bra… he caressed the exposed part her breasts with his hands and nose, and then kissed them all over… Ron was nearly falling over… he had never seen the breasts of an adult woman before… not in person anyway…he and Hermione were stunned by the moans and sighs they could hear through the extendable ears…

When Severus tried to undo the zipper in Alexia’s trousers, she took his hand, stopping him. “No… they will be here any minute…”

“Oh no!” he said, disappointed. “But, yes, you’re right… let’s find a room…”

“No, Severus… wait until we get home…”

“Hmmm, okay… then we’ll have more time and privacy… but, still, you realise where Black took Lupin, don’t you?”

“Yeah, I know… but shall we just wait in the kitchen, hey?”

Fastening their buttons and zipper, and picking up their coats, they walked hand in hand towards the kitchen and out of sight.

Hermione and Ron looked at each other, missing the meaning of Snape’s comments about Black and Lupin. Their faces were pink and the girl’s hands where shaking… not saying a word, she ran back to her room, slamming the door behind her, while Ron entered his and proceeded to describe the wonders of Alexia’s breasts to Harry Potter.

That very night Hermione Granger, at the age of 14, had the first romantic dream of her life. And that dream had, as the main subject of her desire, Professor Severus Snape.

Potions lessons would never be the same…

Random PWP
09.20.04 (5:00 pm)   [edit]

 As I dont think I will be writing any more of this story, I decided to post here some random bits I have written... The intention was to put them together into a nice story, but I just know I won't... so, there you go...

Nervously, Severus paced the Headmaster’s office, pondering on what the he was being asked to do.

“I understand, my friend” repeated the older man, “that it is a mighty task, and that you must be afraid of what you may find within her thoughts… but it is also highly necessary… if the Death Easters lure her to their side, it would be the same as them finding out both your disguise and a shortcut to the members of the Order. Besides, her past relationship with Lucius Malfoy is another danger. We must find out for sure where her loyalties lie.”

The younger man was still pacing and running his sweaty hands through his hair. He could not find anything to say.

“You know, I could do it, if you really wanted me to. She would grant me access to her thoughts” continued the Headmaster. “But it really should be you. You’re so intimate with each other…”

“Alright! You’re right! I’ll do it. If she does not give me permission, I’ll do it in her sleep. I must end this at once.”

Severus turned to leave without another word, leaving behind a worried Headmaster who muttered to himself “May Merlin give you courage and strength, my dear friend…”

****************

Minutes later, Severus was coming out of Alexia’s fireplace, to find her magically guiding needles and stitching his torn shirt.

“You don’t need to do these things, Alex… you know that.”

“Yeah, I know… but really Severus, I think I should try… I mean, what kind of woman is not even able to stitch her partner’s clothes?”

“Well, you know my opinion about all this… we’ll talk about it another day though. Now, I have something else, really serious, to talk to you about.”

“You’re frightening me!”

“Well, it is kind of frightening, in fact…”

He sat on the chair in front of her, taking both her hands in his. With tears threatening to pour out of his eyes any minute, he explained the situation.

“Dumbledore is very concerned with the increasing Death Eater activity registered lately. He reckons the Dark Lord may rise again any time. There are a few - how can I put it? – arrangements, that need to be protected at any cost. And I mean ANY cost…”

He could not hold back his tears any longer, and Alexia was both confused and afraid of what was coming next…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; “Using Dumbledore’s own words, I was asked to scrutinise your thoughts and memories, in order to find out without a doubt where your loyalties lie…”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Alex felt a sharp pang of pain in her heart. That was like having the ground removed from beneath her feet. She lost balance and nearly fell off her chair. Looking back up into his eyes, she threw herself at his feet, crying.

& nbsp;   &n bsp; “Don’t you believe in my love? Do you really think I’m betraying you? Have I not given enough proof, Severus, that you’re the only man I truly love?”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Pulling her back to her seat, he held her hands again. “I do believe you… I really do… but, I must see it, don’t you understand? Albus has offered to come and do it himself… would you rather…”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; “Of course not!” she cut across his sentence. “I have nothing to hide from you… I’ll open my whole life to you, with no regrets…”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Severus sighed in relief…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; “What do we have to do?”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; He instructed her to sit where she could be comfortable and relax. “Close your eyes… that’s it… Now, don’t worry, you won’t feel anything…”

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Using the Legilimens spell, Severus penetrated Alexia’s brain. What he saw there, not only brought him complete relief, but also made his fondness of the Cornish woman increase by about two orders of magnitude…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; She had spent her childhood torn between the ideas of her Slytherin father, Thomas Morgan, and her mother’s family. They all went to St. Michael’s School, never leaving Cornwall…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Memories of her teen years were mostly disturbing… Severus could see (and with the aid of a little Dark Magic spell, also feel) the despair of a young Alex, hopelessly in love with a young man, Marrock Warlach, who was affected by Lycanthropy. She spent years and years trying to find a cure by herself, with no aid from her family or friends. That was before the discovery of Wolfsbane, and all her efforts were in vain. Every month the same tragic scenes were repeated, with Marrock running into Dart Moore to transform, and coming back hurt and weak. Severus was shocked to see the memory and feel the pain, the unbearable pain, of the night Alexia found the dead body of her lover, literally torn to pieces. No one has ever found out who the murderer was, and it must have been someone powerful, as there are only so many ways in which a werewolf can be killed… This relationship had lasted for several years, and Severus could see her disappointment at not being able to have her own family with Marrock.

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Next thing he saw within her head were the years she spent wandering, first to Orkney, then Skye and finally Eastern Europe – Moldova, Walachia and back to Vienna. She wasn’t able to find peace anywhere… Immerse in her studies of Chemistry, and with the excuse of perfecting the art of brewing different kinds of scrumpy and beer for the family pubs, she lived in different places, until the day she met her nemesis, in the shape and form of Lucius Malfoy…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Three weeks of mind-blowing sex, involved in magic, Dark Arts, and promises of ever-lasting love… That’s what summed up the short and intense affair Alex lived in Vienna… Lucius left, but never sent a word again… After months desperately waiting, she decided to return home… There, in a Sunday issue of the Daily Prophet she received the greatest blow since the death of Marrock: a picture of Lucius Malfoy, along with his wife and son… Much more than hatred, what she felt was extreme sadness and desperation, which permeated her life for the years to come, until one day…

& nbsp;   &n bsp; Everything within Alexia’s memories seemed to brighten up on one Friday evening… the day she saw him – Severus himself – sitting with Dumbledore and the others around the table in the Gardeners Arms. All memories Alex had of him were of pure joy, love and hope …

Chapter 4
09.20.04 (4:49 pm)   [edit]

Harry Potter had finished breakfast early and was now standing right at the main entrance to Hogwarts Castle talking to Angelina Jones about how nice the weather was for playing Quidditch, and how intensely they missed it, despite all the excitement about the Triwizard Tournament. Looking into the sky, they suddenly saw someone approaching from above, at tremendous speed, riding a broomstick. “Wow!” said Harry, “Whoever that is, he’s a bloody good flyer!” The newcomer was flying straight towards the main door. He only slowed down at a few metres from it, making the boys back away, as they recognized their Potions teacher. Harry was flabbergasted; he never knew Snape could fly, and fly that well! Dismounting, Severus took his broom in his hand, completely ignoring his two stupefied students.

“That was awesome, sir!” said Angelina.

“Yeah, really amazing!” said Harry.

Severus regarded them disdainfully: “Well, did you two think you were the first and only Quidditch players of the century?” Turning on his heels he climbed the stairs and disappeared into the castle. Angelina, still surprised, had to give in and admit that Snape must have really been good at Quidditch:

“Blimey, I never thought that the old bat was able to fly! And he’s got a bloody good broom!”

“What I wonder” added Harry, “is where he is coming back from, this early in the morning…”

Meanwhile, the Head of Slytherin sent his broom flying by itself towards the dungeons, and made for the Great Hall. He could only feel too pleased with himself; after all, it was not everyday that, in less than 12 hours, two things he did were said to be amazing by two different people.

******************

& nbsp;   &n bsp;   For the rest of the week, Alexia could not think of anything but Snape. She had got used to thinking of him all the time… Since that very first day when he came into the pub, she hardly spent a single hour without dreaming of the man in black. Now, however, she had the vivid memory of his scent, his body, his soft hair…

Three days had passed and not a word from him…

*****************

Severus had been very busy as usual, but every so often, too often in fact, he thought of Alexia’s perfume and all else that went on that night… a few times he nearly run straight to Hogsmeade to see her… That was rather annoying as far as he was concerned…

On Thursday evening finally, he could not bear it any longer. He stuck his head into the fireplace and called for Alex through the Floo network. She was sitting next to her fireplace reading a book, and answered straight away…

“Alex, my darling… I have been meaning to talk to you for days…”

“Severus… it’s so good to see you… are you coming in?”

“Erm, no… I have… other matters to attend to… but I needed to see your face… to look into your eyes…”

“Come over then! Just a few minutes… please…”

“Right… but I can only stay for a short time…”

His face disappeared from the fireplace… he walked over to the other side of the Potions classroom, where Ron Weasley and Harry Potter were serving detention, wiping clean one hundred cauldrons, without magic.

“Potter, Weasley! You may go now.”

“But Sir, we’re not finished with the hundred cauldrons…”

“It doesn’t matter… just go! Pack up your stuff and go!”

With a dangerous look at the boys’ hesitation, Snape added: “Do as I say or it will be 50 points from Gryffindor!”

Ron and Harry did as they were told, while still being able to see Snape throw Floo Powder into the fireplace…

“What is he up to?” wondered Ron.

“I don’t know… but I’d never seen the greasy git let us out of detention early…”

“Yeah, that was really weird… but anyway, whatever it is he is up to, I’m glad for it…”

Seconds later, Severus appeared, full-bodied, through Alexia’s fireplace… Without a word, he held her and kissed her hungrily.

“I needed to kiss you” he said, sweating and starting to lose control.

Alex was breathing heavily: “I though you wouldn’t come back…”

“How could I not...” replied him, descending his hands from her shoulders towards her waist and then pulling her skirt upwards to caress her thighs… Burning of passion, like she hadn’t been for a long while, she worked on his coat’s buttons – a gorgeous black frock coat – until it fell to the floor around his feet. Next, she turned to the buttons of his shirt and trousers… but their lust was increasing so quickly… Still half dressed, they made love right there, on the carpet, in a sequence of soft fabric and skin; lips, hands and tongues; sweat, nails and blood…

Their love making was even more intense than before… energy was building up around them and all light globes started to flicker and the candles were blown off…

As Severus took her to the climax once more, the chairs next to where they were lying started to wiggle and Sebastian the cat, who was napping on one of them, stumbled to the floor… Meowing in protest he lazily walked away…

Chapter 3
09.20.04 (4:42 pm)   [edit]

Professor Snape returned to Hogwarts flying his broom that evening and feeling light hearted as he hadn’t felt for years.  Since the first day he met that woman he took deep interest in her. Not only for her unusual looks and her interesting choice of dressing – she was always in black, just like himself! - but also for the intensity she kept looking at him. He had returned to the pub every week, thinking of a way to approach her, invite her to sit with him, but at the same time he didn’t know whether that was entirely safe… getting close to a woman now… these were dangerous times. And yet he could not resist. He did miss someone with him again… he missed a female presence in the dungeons…he’d been alone for 2 years, since Valentina, the muggle girl nearly lost her mind trying to uncover the secrets of magic. All right, there was Madam Sinistra and her constant advances towards him… But she annoyed him deeply and, despite being a good looking lady, he could not even start to think about a relationship with her. He always ignored her and, lately, had been forced to be even impolite… No, he was not attracted to her at all… Alexia, however… For a few moments, Snape tried to imagine how it would feel to have her in the dungeons with him… her soft perfume in the air… her soft skin rubbing against his chest as they made love… Oh! What is this, Severus! Daydreaming like a teenage boy! He was very angry at himself… But then again… it was so sweet to think of her…

***************

Seven days later, Professor Snape came back to The Gardener’s Arms… He had spent the whole week thinking of that woman… he even dreamed of her… he felt very silly and confused, and yet, could not resist his desire… tonight, he would have her in his arms… he would find a way… he had to…

Alexia did not hide her excitement in seeing him as he approached the bar. She smiled widely and said loud words of welcome. He greeted her bowing and kissing her hand, as usual.

“Will you be able to join me for a glass of wine again this evening, Alex?”

She gasped and her hands started shaking. That had been quite unexpected. She had spent the whole week devising a plan to get to sit with him again, and now he was inviting her! Straight away! Her voice sounded so unsteady…

“Uh, yes, I guess so… there are only 3 or 4 customers in this evening. Not very busy… as it is usual on Mondays…”

She walked around the bar and followed him towards his usual table. It faced the bar, but was also quite private, as there were boards with stained glasses on both sides. They sat facing each other, waiting for Harold to serve the wine. Alex felt unsure of herself but excited... Snape was determined to make a move towards her…but he just didn’t know how.

The conversation, this time, got a tad bit more personal. Alex was just too curious about him, and couldn’t restrain her tongue…she asked about his family and past… but could not get half of what she wanted to know. He was, indeed, a very mysterious man… he told her about a not very happy teenager hood, and how his family was obsessed with blood ties. He also mentioned a muggle lover, his most recent and ill fated relationship. In turn, Alex told him about her life in Cornwall and the years in St. Michael’s School. All too soon though, Rhiamon called for last orders… Alexia’s face went pink… she wanted to ask Severus to stay longer, but could not find the courage to do so… In his next words however, all she had hoped for started to come true.

“Pity… there is still about half a bottle of this delicious wine left…”

“Well, if you would rather finish it… we can always get out of the pub later… I’ve got the keys, remember? …” Alexia said, rather embarrassed and with an evil grin to her face.

He raised the corner of his mouth in a half smile and sat back again. In his usual silky tones, which always made the hairs on Alexia’s neck to stand on end, Snape said: “Alright. That seems to be… convenient…”

The pub emptied within minutes but there still was a sweet melody playing in the background. It was a song by an Italian young witch who became famous in the muggle world. Emma Shaphlin was her name, and the song was conveniently called “La Notte Etterna” – the eternal night… The song, its words, rhythm and atmosphere, gave Severus an idea to help him get what he had come for:

“Care for a dance?”

“What? Here?”

“Yes, why not? There are only us now… no one is looking…”

“Okay” said Alex quite embarrassed. She was deeply shaken by this invitation for a dance… the circumstances reminded her too much of the last time she’d been so deeply attracted to a man… a glass of wine and a dance…

Taking her hand, he gave her a smile and guided her to the middle of the room, where they started dancing, very slowly. Arms wrapped tightly around each other… Alex could not believe she had got to be physically so close to the man she desired so much.

“How did you enjoy the evening?” came the silky voice again, speaking slowly and in low tones, right into her ear. Her reaction was immediate, and she didn’t even notice what she was doing…

“Why are you clawing my back?” he asked, in the same silky tones.

“Sorry, I didn’t notice… It is your voice… it sends shivers down my spine…”

“Oh, does it?” said he, teasingly.

Severus could not restrain his desire any longer... He started kissing her bare neck all the way down to her shoulder and up again… Then, he suddenly stopped and, thinking that it might have been too soon for that, he apologised…

“Sorry about that Alex… I didn’t mean…”

“No…” Alex silenced him. “One should never apologise for doing… well, good things.”

He looked into her eyes… without thinking any further, Severus took her in an even tighter embrace, and kissed her lips… soon, their tongues were exploring deeply into each other’s mouths. Their first kiss was intense, revealing the long held mutual desire. Their bodies were so close together, it seemed they would melt into each other. She could feel the gradual awakening of his desire, with the growing solidness touching her belly.

They were still dancing, as she started pulling him slowly towards the back of the pub… Severus used Accio to bring the wine with them… the enchanted door took them straight to the second floor where Alexia lived, without having to climb stairs…

Eager kisses and caresses… cloaks, trousers, skirts, tops and boots flew around the room… They soon reached the four-poster bed, the wine still floating in mid-air, following them, until Severus made it land on the bedside table… but they had no time to drink it just now…

********************

He hadn’t taken off his shirt, only unlaced it… that only made him even more desirable to her… the contrast of jet black hair against white linen…

Severus was now on top, and both of them could feel the climax approaching. Alex, however, had not been prepared for this… first slowly, but at increasing speed, the wine glasses on the bedside table started to spin around... She had her legs tightly wrapped around his hips and, whenever she could reach under his shirt, she clawed his back with her long, black-polished nails, drawing blood… He enjoyed it much more than he would admit and continued his rhythmic movements making her moan. At that, a few books seemed to have jumped off their shelves onto the floor. Severus and Alex did not care and, within a few minutes, Alex was not in herself anymore. She had no idea where all those sensations were coming from; it had never happened before in this way… She thought she was going to, somehow, leave her body… The pleasure he was giving her was so immense, it was nearly unbearable… Severus’ eyes told her he was feeling, if not the same, at least something very similar to that. His breathing was intense; he groaned and thrust forward, ever deeper into her. All the time, he kept leaning forward to nibble at her hard nipples and to kiss her wet lips.

Suddenly, everything around them was blurred; all Alex could see was a bright silver glow as she closed her eyes… She cried out very loud and several times. At the same time, two wine glasses went spinning into the air, where they exploded into a million tiny pieces. The bedside table rattled, nearly falling over and yet more books jumped off their shelves. Severus was amazed at the effects he was having on his woman, but his rapture was too enormous for him to ponder on the matter right now. His body shivered and shook all over. Just a few seconds after Alexia’s cries, she heard a series of guttural moans, as he held her tight and his fluids spilled deep, deep inside her…

He lay still for some time on top of her, until his eyes opened and met with hers. Still breathing heavily, they stared at each other for a few seconds and Alex couldn’t help but smile at him… he smiled back, and soon they were both laughing.

“What a mess you made!” said Severus.

“Me? Me?” replied Alex. “You kiss me like that, touch me like that… you move like that, and I am to blame for the shattered glasses?!”

Laughing naughtily, he leant over her again for a kiss and settled by her side. She was forced to admit: “It had never been so intense before. Never in my life, honestly. I even thought I would pass out in rapture! How on Earth did you do that?”

“Do what? You’re the one who sent glasses spinning into the air” he said teasingly, nibbling at her ear lobe.

“Yeah, I know. But I’d never done that before…”

“No?”

“No… well, I had made tables rattle and mugs spin on tabletops… but never had I made glasses shatter into the air like that.”

“And the books!” – said Severus. “I thought they’d hit us… I must admit, Alex, I don’t think I had, ever, evoked such powerful energy in any woman, witch or muggle, before. And, trust me, I did not use any charm or spell… or potion...”

“I know, Severus. It was just you, your body, your scent… and my powerful desire for you…”

“Same here…” He paused, looking at her lips and stroking her soft breasts. “It was amazing, mesmerising… mind-blowing really… can’t wait to have more glasses shattered to pieces … but not just now…”

With another laugh and a lingering kiss, they fell into each other’s embrace and relaxed. Totally spent, both of them slept quietly until dawn came by…

*******************

Alexia woke up with the first rays of sun filtering through the window. She still could not believe how amazing her night with Severus had been. After long weeks of constantly thinking of him, longing for his kiss and touch… weeks spent burning in desire for his body and his smell, she was not disappointed… Now, she was only confused… What was he going to do? Walk away, saying thanks for the hours spent in her bed? Or was he going to say that it had been very good and that he wanted to see her again and again? As these matters crossed her mind, he stirred and woke up. They were still tightly wrapped in each other’s arms… He opened his eyes and gave her a broad smile. She considered that a privilege: for what she had heard, not many people had seen the Potions Master smiling. A few kisses and caresses exchanged, and Severus declared that he needed to get going… he was expected to show up at Hogwarts for breakfast. Not sure about how true that was, Alexia watched through the window, as her lover took his broomstick and flew up the hill towards the castle.

Chapter 2
09.20.04 (4:38 pm)   [edit]

On Saturday afternoon, the whole student population of Hogwarts, or at least it seemed so to Alexia, decided to have a butterbeer or some scrumpy in the pub. No sign of the staff though. Apart from the sexy potions master, only Dumbledore and McGonnagall were regulars in the Gardeners Arms… everyone else was still faithful to Rosemerta and kept going to the Three Broomsticks. No problem, Hogsmeade was getting big enough for three pubs… two actually, as the Hogshead wasn’t exactly considered a respectable establishment.

Alex was pouring pint after pint of scrumpy to her eager costumers, when she noticed a trio taking seats at the bar, and complaining that the tables were all taken. An incredibly pretty blond boy, with strangely familiar eyes was escorted by two huge monkeys, oh, erm, no… they were actually boys too… but with dull expressions and no sign of intelligence at all. If they were a unique organism, the little blond thing would be the brain and those two would be the muscles. But what caught Alexia’s attention, apart from the sensation that she already knew that blond boy from somewhere else, where the scarves they wore. They were Slytherins! That could be a useful source of information…

“Hello boys! Enjoying your Saturday? I’m Alex, the landlady.”

The blond boy spoke. She wasn’t expecting anything else.

“Hello there. Nice to meet you. I’m Draco and these are my classmates, Crabbe and Goyle. We’ve heard your scrumpy is the best in Britain.”

“Really? Well, it has been considered that, yes… How did you know?”

“My father told me. He knows all about pure blood families and what they do.”

The boy showed strength and self-confidence. She began to wonder what family he was from, and afterwards, cursed herself for not asking who the referred father had been. For now, she had other concerns.

“Hmmm, have some scumpy them. On the house.” She handed them three pints. “Now tell me… I see by your scarves you’re in Slytherin House”.

They nodded proudly.

“So, you will probably know a bit about your Head of House and what kind of person he is…”

“Of course” went on the little blond beauty. He sounded very enthusiastic. “Professor Severus Snape. He is our best teacher, really brilliant. He comes from a very old, pure-blood family and is a good friend of my Dad.”

Oh, obviously the boy was quite fond of his daddy, and also very concerned with blood lines. Very Slytherin… he sounded like her own father.

“Really? And what else could you tell me about him?”

“He is not married, I know that much… If that is what you’re asking…”

A grin crossed the faces of the three boys and Alex was quite embarrassed. She changed subject quickly, asking them about the next Quidditch match, and leaving to talk to other students as soon as she could.

**************

Monday morning found Alexia restless with anticipation. Would the man in black come back again? Was that something he usually did, to go for a drink all alone, after a few hours of shopping to replenish his potion ingredients supply? She couldn’t wait for the evening… her mood was particularly bad today, and only Rhiammon, Harold and Joe would tolerate her outbursts… Not that she would shout at anyone else… Those three creatures were the closest thing to brothers and sisters she would ever have, and they knew her mind and soul so completely that they were sure she meant nothing of what she said…

Soon enough, the evening came by and the pub was still quite empty. Usual for a Monday. Alexia’s heart was beating next to her throat, and she nearly dropped the dishes she was carrying when she realised that Professor Snape was already crossing the hall, walking towards her. He again asked for red wine, sat at a table from where he could see her and worked with his vials, flasks and rolls of parchment.

To Alexia’s astonishment, this time the good night kiss on her hand was accompanied by a “Have a pleasant week and I’ll see you next Monday”.

The same strange ritual was repeated three, four, five times… five weeks in a row, he came into the Gardener`s Arms on Monday evening, all alone and carrying his shopping…he would talk to no one, except for asking his drink and bidding Alexia good night, and would work the whole evening, with his flasks and notes. Although he came in always at around eight, and never left before last orders, he never had more than two glasses of wine.

It is needless to say that Alexia was on the verge of insanity by now. She dreamed of the man every single night… every single night for five weeks! And yet, she hadn’t had the courage to start a conversation… he didn’t seem the type who would appreciate small talk…

On the sixth Monday, however, it all changed. Alex knew the Gods had answered her prayers… Professor Snape sat calmly, sipping his wine and taking some notes. He secretly thought that Alex was looking particularly attractive this evening, wearing a fit black top, and fit black satin trousers showing a narrow stripe of the whitest skin of her belly. The trousers were wide at the bottom, and only a tiny bit of her high heels were visible. She was collecting empty glasses from the tables that evening, as there was nothing better to do… As she walked past Snape’s table, carrying an enormous pile of glasses, Harold entered the hall running, and crashed with her legs. The pile lost its balance, and 30 glasses were shattered to a million pieces all over the floor. Snape immediately came to her aid, but she was fine, apart from the shock. She was shaking all over, and the man ushered her to his table for her to take a sit and recover. Poor Harold never felt more embarrassed in his life… he had come in running away from Sebastian the cat, who always chased him around the kitchens. The poor thing cleaned everything up in a second and left, excusing himself. Alex, however, was pretending to be a lot more shaken than she actually was. Yes, she was shaking all over, but much more because of the fascinating presence sitting by her side than from the accident.

“Are you alright Miss?” …Gods, she could not believe how sexy that voice sounded… “Here, have some wine; it will make you relax”.  From nowhere, he conjured a glass and poured some wine for her. She took it with pleasure… Oh! it was really nice. Her breathing slowly returned to near normal rhythm and she could speak again.

“Thank you, Professor. That was nice of you.”

He looked intensely into her eyes and they gave the faint idea of a smile.

“If you are not too busy, perhaps you could finish your glass and keep me company for a few moments?”

That was all she had been hoping to hear for five weeks! Oh! poor man, he didn’t know what he had just done… she was not intending to leave him soon at all…

“Of course, Professor; I would be delighted…”

The evening was all she had hoped for and much more. He was so intelligent, witty, and well read. He was also very sarcastic and his knowledge of history and chemistry astonished her. They had a lot to talk about, and that pleased Alexia beyond belief.

When Rhiammon called for last orders they were both visibly sad they had to part. Alex could now only wait for the next Monday and get lost in her dreams…

The Same Deep Water as You
09.14.04 (7:21 am)   [edit]

Here it is, the first chapter of my Snape/OFC character... hope somebody reads it... ihihih and enjoy!

WARNING - ADULT CONTENT. IF YOU'RE NOT 18 OR OLDER, PLEASE, DO NOT CONTINUE

A Severus Snape/OFC story by AngelCure. This is an adult content piece, with consensual sex between adult man and woman. The character Severus Snape is a creation of JK Rowling (blessed be her for ever!). Alexia Legassick Morgan is my own creation but with the image - and wardrobe - of Anne Nurmi, keyboards and voice of the German gothic band Lacrimosa (not that Anne knows about it). No money is being made of course, and I am as skint as ever. Sorry for language mistakes, English is not my mother tongue. Let’s get on with it then:

Chapter 1

Headmaster Albus Dumbledore woke up early on that cold Sunday morning, with the arrival of an owl at his window. A large barn owl, quite old and looking rather tired of his long journey.

"Good morning, Alfred! Long time no see! Have you got news from our Cornish friends then?"

Giving a little treat to Alfred the owl, he opened the letter:

Dear Albus

Hope this letter finds you happy and well. I have some good news about my grand-daughter – Morwenna’s daughter - Alexia. We have finally managed to drag some sense into her dreamy head, and she agreed to become manager of the family pub in Hogsmeade, the Gardener’s Arms. This is a note to ask for your help and support: can you please, get your staff and friends to attend her establishment, at least in the first few weeks, because, should it fail, we don’t know if she will ever agree to do anything productive again… She’ll be opening on Friday evening. As you know, Alex has always loved and respected you so your presence, as well as your staff’s would, indeed, be a blessing.

Thanks in advance. Kind regards,

Talek Legassick

St. Michael’s Mount, Marazion, Penzance

Cornwall

PS – Please, let old Alfred rest for a few hours before he sets off back home… he’s been in a real state lately…

"Hmmm, interesting… suppose I’ll have a word with the staff…" and carried on with his breakfast, without a second thought to the matter.

****************

Alexia waited at the door, welcoming her customers. She really didn’t look bad, although she was far from being considered a beauty. She was a woman of 35 and long straight hair, to the middle of her back, totally black. She also wore black. Always. That night, she was wearing a black satin corset, and long, black velvet skirts. Her eyes were dark brown, nearly black in contrast to her skin, which was pale white.

At around 8.00 pm she welcomed Professor Albus Dumbledore and his staff into the pub. She was really happy to see the old Headmaster after all those years, and bowed in front of him.

"Master Albus, welcome to the Gardener’s Arms".

"May Merlin bless you, child."

"Please, do come in and make yourselves at home. I’ll soon follow you to your table to take your orders personally".

Harold, the house elf took the professors to their table under orders to give them V.I.P. treatment. They sat at a round table, in front of a lit fireplace. The pub was cosy and welcoming, with its stone walls plastered and painted in vivid colours, each wall in a different hue. The floor was covered with nice and fluffy rugs and fresh flowers decorated the tables.

As they settled down, Alex was already approaching to take their orders. That was when she noticed for the first time a striking figure. Just beside the headmaster sat a man wearing black from head to toe… he had shoulder length black hair and ebony eyes. Oh, those eyes… As she walked towards the table, those eyes were fixed on her… She felt awkward at first, but as soon as she got close enough, what she saw was the sexiest man she’d seen in years, since…

Dumbledore got up and hugged Alexia warmly.

"Dear child, let me introduce you to my staff. Professors, this is Alexia Legassick Morgan, grand daughter of a very good friend of mine, Talek Legassick, from Marazion, Cornwall. Her father, Meriasek Morgan, was a student at Hogwarts too… a Slytherin… Alexia, this is Professor Flitwick, Charms Master and Head of Ravenclaw House."

He pointed to a tiny man with grey hair and a funny nose.

"That is Madame Hooch, our Flight Professor, and this is Professor Minerva McGonnagall, Transfiguration Master and Head of Gryffindor House."

The first was a stout woman, with strange yellow eyes, and the second looked like a lovely lady, with glasses and a pointy hat.

"Madam Sinistra over here is our Astronomy teacher" said Dumbledore, pointing to a very pretty woman who was sitting close (far too close to Alexia’s liking) to the man in black and, oh! she was holding his arm! Alex hated her instantly; at the same time as she told herself how ridiculous it was to feel like that. Bowing politely, she declared her interest in Astronomy.

Oh Merlin she was so tense… just about to find out who that man was... He was not looking amused, and - at least to Alex – seemed to be solemnly ignoring the woman sitting next to him. Rather, he’d been staring at Alex all along…

"And finally" said Dumbledore, "this is Professor Severus Snape, our Potions Master and Head of Slytherin House".

"Nice to meet you, Miss Morgan. And good luck with your venture".

Alex could barely mutter a faint "Thank you"… He had the most delicious voice she’d ever heard… it sounded like… like… velvet… it was warm and deep, and yet, firm and commanding… A voice that could not be ignored… at least not by any sane woman. Oh, that was so dangerous…

Without noticing, she had stood there for longer than appropriate, just staring at the Potions Master (what was his name again? Oh damn!) who returned the stare. Fortunately Joe, the other house elf, pulled Alexia’s skirt giving her the menus and the wine charts. She passed them on and left, promising to return within minutes. Her hands were shaking, but she was not really sure why.

Within a few minutes she returned to the table, glad to see that the Astronomy lady had released the man’s arm. Was he married to that woman? Hmm… no; they had different surnames. Engaged, maybe? She had to find out…

********************

Rhiamon was an 18 year old witch from Sennen, near Penzance, just graduated from St. Michael’s School of Magic, the little Cornish Wizarding School, where Alex herself had studied. Rhiamon had come with Alex to work as a barmaid, and right now she was taking the orders from the Hogwarts staff. She was a very pretty girl, with light-brow shoulder length hair and huge green eyes. As Alex got to the table, she tore the notebook from her hands and quietly told her to bugger off. Rhiamon was now used to Alexia’s temper and just ignored her, returning to the kitchens.

The professors were choosing their drinks… a brandy and some water for Dumbledore; a glass of a classic malt for McGonnagall, a pint of real ale for each Madame Hooch and Prof. Flitwick… juice for Madame Sinistra… and red wine for professor Snape… Alex was melting inside "oh, he likes wine…"

"I’m not quite familiar with all options in your wine list, but I do like Pinot Noir and this one here" said THE VOICE to Alex, pointing at one name in the wine list "sounds like a good choice?"

Professor Snape looked at Alex quizzically, but she was not quite sure whether it had been a question. After five seconds of silence, Alex could not stop marvelling at the man, and declared as flatly as she could manage:

"Interesting choice… this wine is a personal favourite of mine… very good… very good choice" as she wrote down his order.

Subtle as an elephant, Madame Hooch laughed out loud and said to Alex, much to Snape’s annoyance: "Oh! Severus has always had a very refined taste…"

The man looked furious at the remark and Alex understood nothing… walking back to the bar, she was really angry at herself for being so interested in that man… Had he noticed her? Would he be interested in talking to her? She had watched him all along, looking for some kind of reaction to her presence, but his face was as blank as possible.

*******

The first barely noticeable reaction came as Alex placed the bottle of wine in front of the man in black and opened it. She traced circular movements of her index finger in the air around the neck of the bottle. The cork started to ascend as the whole bottle twisted under it, following Alexia’s finger movement. That seemed to catch the attention of her object of desire. Obviously her eyes were fixed on him, and she noticed how intensely his eyes followed her hand, as she opened the bottle, picked it up and poured a little wine into his glass. He looked up at her and said a barely audible thanks. As he sniffed the wine and took a sip of it, he held eye contact, making Alexia’s face go slightly pink.

"Excellent! Very good indeed."

She felt a shiver running through her whole body at the sound of the silky voice.

"I’m so glad you like it Professor! Well, I hope you all have a very pleasant evening. Should you need anything, I’ll be behind the bar." With such words, Alex left them and went back to work… turning to look at them every 2 minutes…

************

"I hate Mondays! I bloody hate Mondays!" It was already early evening, but Alex still wasn’t happy about it being Monday. The pub was nearly empty, which was quite a blessing after the hard work and full house from Friday to Sunday. Thank Merlin! At least Mr. Meriasek, her father, would not be bothering her about her business being a failure…

Monday was supposed to be quiet in a pub, and Alex sat behind the counter reading about beer brewing and new ingredients. As nothing happened, she started moaning to Rhiamon about how useless Mondays were… Oh, she was in a bad mood… The younger witch just carried on with her work, agreeing with everything Alex said… The thing was, Alex could not take Professor Snape out of her mind for one single second since she had set eyes on him, and that annoyed her deeply.

Suddenly, the front door opened and a cloaked figure walked in, carrying a broomstick and a shopping bag. Alex ignored it at first, until the person took off his cloak and hung in on the coat hanger near the door, and placed the broomstick in the corner.

"Oh dear Merlin, it is him!"

Professor Snape walked straight to the bar, his gaze fixed on the woman behind it, who pretended to be reading.

"Good evening, Miss Morgan"

"Good evening, Professor" Damn, what was his name?! "What can I get you?"

"Can I have a glass of red wine, please? The one I had on Friday evening would be fine."

"Of course, Professor. I’ll bring it over to your table."

Giving Alexia a few golden coins he walked to where the tables were, and chose one facing the bar. Interesting… he found a table from where they could see each other clearly…

Alex served the wine and returned to her reading, while the professor took several vials out of his shopping bag, positioned them on the table and started reading the labels and taking notes on a roll of parchment.

She spent the evening surreptitiously watching him, and caught his eye a few times… he was deeply mysterious… not the stereotypical good looking guy, but tall, well mannered, and sensual… oh… and that voice…

At eleven o’clock sharp, Rhiammon called for last orders, and professor Snape started packing all his vials and parchment again. Before leaving, he approached Alex to say good night, taking her hand in his and kissing it delicately. Little did she know that such gesture had not been part of the professor usual manners for a long, long time…

When he was gone, Alex kissed her own hand several times, on the same spot where his lips had touched her. That night, and all nights of the week, she had sweet dreams about a man with ebony eyes and the voice of velvet.

Hello...this is my second attempt at a blog... lets hope it works...

Well, my name is Angelica, I live in Brazil and I'm here to try and post some fanfiction - it's all based on the Harry Potter series and, as my favourite characters are Professor Severus Snape and Lucius Malfoy, the story is about their relationship with a character of my own creation...

Sorry about English mistakes... although I lived in England for 4 years, my mother language is Portuguese... but I trust you guys will understand what I mean! Hugs!
